"Sometimes I Get Deep"
Yesterday some people misunderstood me
when I wrote this:
The internet is like life.
We sit outside, looking in, and begin to believe it's real.
We establish relationships,
have adventures,
and think we're going places.
But, each of us sits alone...
outside,
looking in.
* * *
What I meant to say was this:
I think life may be like the internet.
It's seems so real,
but our spirit, or our real self, or whatever is essentially us
is outside looking in.
And when life gets turned off,
we'll look around and say to ourselves:
"Oh, yeah!
That was great, but THIS is REAL!
This is HOME."
Sometimes I get deep.
