"Progress Report"
Tomorrow being my birthday,
I submit this report to whoever is keeping the books.
I started with nothing.
I have survived life’s trials, tribulations,
love, grief, fun, and adventures,
so far.
I am about twenty bucks ahead.
So, I’m making progress.
