"Karaoke: Who Cares?"
Karaoke is not evil. It's an amoral mechanical device. It was helpful in the therapy of a friend
of mine who had a severe head injury. That's wonderful!
Like nitroglycerine, it has beneficial uses. Like nitroglycerine, it can do damage.
It would be nice to make canned music fans understand how it has hurt the musicians, and
the participants, but it won't work. I'm losing interest and gaining weight.
People are becoming more and more programmed to accept less. They don't know what
they're missing.
Is it apathy? Is it 7 o'clock already? Does anybody care?
Nah.
