"Dumpster Diving"
Even when we had major label hits going
and lots of money coming in,
I would drive around the block
looking for a parking meter with time left on it.
That's a holdover from being broke,
homeless,
and in trouble.
It never goes away.
We still check the neighborhood dumpster
because people throw good stuff away.
There's a nice TV set in there now.
I'm thinking about it.
