"Doctors vs. Lawyers"
Victims of medical practice demonstrated yesterday,
and today the doctors march around with their signs.
I only know what I see on TV,
but here's what I think:
The insurance companies are just sitting back smiling.
If a cap is put on victims lawsuit awards
malpractice insurance premiums will not come down.
Have they ever?
The insurance companies want the doctors and lawyers
to blame each other.
They want lawsuit caps,
and they don't care who else takes the rap.
Like old Mr. Potter in "It's a Wonderful Life"
they sit in their webs and chuckle
as we suckers all fall for their schemes.
Insurance companies are bottom line guys...
not our friends.
Not good hands to be in.
I may be wrong,
but it's something to think about.
